The Iranian Journal of Mechanical Engineering Transactions of ISME is published regularly, by the Iranian Society of Mechanical Engineers and publishes academic articles according to the license of the Iran Ministry of Science, Research and Technology. The journal assigns DOI and DOR codes to the articles and publishes them, biannually. The articles in this journal are published in four main branches of mechanical engineering: Solid Mechanics, Dynamics and Control and Vibration Systems, Fluid Mechanics, and Heat Transfer. Topics such as mechatronics, biomechanics, environment, materials, aerospace and automotive engineering, and transportation systems, which are either subsets of mechanical engineering or interdisciplinary topics related to mechanical engineering, are also accepted topics in the journal of Iranian Society of Mechanical Engineering and might be submitted to the journal. The publication of articles in the journals of the Iranian Society of Mechanical Engineers is free and the collection of articles published is free and online through the website of the journal. Iranian Journal of Mechanical Engineering Transactions of ISME doesn't have any submission and article processing charges (APCs) for the paper affilated with organizations outside the country. However, For the case which the corresponing author is affiliated by Iranian organizations, the corresponding author is responsible for the costs associated with the DOI and plagiarism check. Currently, the average first action is 1 day, the average review date is 27 days and the average time to accept is 314 days. As mentioned before, the Iranian Journal of Mechanical Engineering Transactions of ISME is a fully open access, single blind peer reviewed, electronic and print, semiannual publication concerned with appropriate aspects of Mechanical Engineering. This journal publishes only original research papers. This journal is indexed in Islamic World Science Citation center (ISC), Scientific Information Database (SID) and magiran.
Open Access policy
Iranian Journal of Mechanical Engineering Transactions of the ISME is a libre green open access journal. This policy facilitates the widest possible dissemination of your work with no fees. Authors can self-archive their articles or post a free copy of their article on a repository or website after it’s been made available on our website provided that appropriate credit is given to the formal publication on our website using the uniquely assigned DOI of the article.
Copyright agreement
Once a manuscript has been accepted for publication by the journal, authors will be requested to fill and sign the copyright agreement to grant publisher rights to the journal. These rights include the exclusive right to publish and distribute the accepted article in all forms and media and the authority to enforce the rights in the article, on behalf of an author, against third parties, in cases of plagiarism or copyright infringement.
